Field Service Technician

Utica / Marcellus

Tech

Field Service Technician’s manage Nacelle’s performance
and reliability standards for a fleet of units spanning multiple product lines
through predictive and preventative maintenance plans. Service Technicians
assist in the troubleshooting of complex operational issues and must possess
the knowledge and ability to accurately diagnose issues and implement solutions
in either a group or individual setting. An unrelenting focus on safety for all
activities is paramount. With a customer-centric focus, Service Technicians
must possess a strong capacity for attention to detail and a sense of urgency
for both the customer and Company to meet and exceed operation goals.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate and maintain on-site natural gas conditioning equipment
  • Follow all Nacelle and Nacelle customer safety policies and procedures
  • Communicate with customer and other customer contractors to maximize performance of equipment and operations
  • Manage the performance of multiple units simultaneously
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues
  • Maintain logs of operating conditions, execution and issues and report any irregularities.
  • Routinely communicate with Operations Manager
  • Perform general housekeeping duties and be familiar with Nacelle’s HAZOP and Spill Prevention Plans
  • Operate company vehicle
  • Other duties as may be assigned

Qualifications

  • 5yr + experience in natural gas processing industry with experience and knowledge of gas processing equipment, reciprocal compression, engines, and electrical components
  • Must have knowledge of control systems i.e. SCADA, PLC, etc.
  • Previous supervisory responsibilities a plus
  • Strong communication skills
  • Must be self-directed and possess the ability to perform duties with little to no supervision
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Computer Skills including some PLC and HMI controls
  • Ability to read and interpret P&ID’sand other construction and fabrication drawings
  • Familiarity with appropriate DOT codes fornatural gas transportation
  • Ability to travel
  • This is a safety sensitive position subject to random drug testing

Work Environment

  • Must be available to work all shifts and schedules
  • Working in all climate conditions
  • Available for emergency call outs
  • Travel may be required
  • Heavy lifting required

Field Service Operator

Operator

Field Service Operators operate and perform routine
maintenance on natural gas processing equipment as well assisting on
operational duties. Operators spend majority of their time working closely with
Nacelle’s customers to ensure Nacelle’s value proposition is realized by our
customers. An unrelenting focus on safety for all activities is paramount. With
a customer-centric focus, the Field Service Operator must possess a strong
capacity for attention to detail and a sense of urgency for both the customer
and Company to meet and exceed operational goals.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate and maintain on-site natural gas equipment
  • Follow all Nacelle and Nacelle customer safety policies and procedures
  • Communicate with customer and customer contacts to maximize performance of equipment and operations
  • Follow proper start-up, shut-down, and monitoring programs
  • Ensure proper operation of equipment by assisting in any preventative maintenance programs o needed repairs
  • Advise Field Service Technician of needed repairs or issues
  • Maintain parts inventory for each unit
  • Perform administrative functions related to unit operation and maintenance
  • Routinely communicate with Operations Manager
  • Perform general housekeeping duties and be familiar with Nacelle’s HAZOP and Spill Prevention Plans
  • Other duties as may be assigned

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience with natural gas operations
  • Basic knowledge of gas processing, reciprocal compression, engines, and electrical components
  • Proficient in Microsoft office
  • Strong communication skills
  • Must be self-directed and possess the ability top perform duties with little to no supervision
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Computer Skills including some PLC and HMIcontrols
  • Ability to read and interpret P&ID’sand other construction and fabrication drawings
