Gov Graney is co-founder and managing member of Nacelle, leading the company’s sales activities working to solve problems for its customers.
Gov has spent his entire career providing services to the energy industry. After graduating from Southern Methodist University, Gov went to work for Petroleum Products, Inc., based in Charleston, WV. There he worked in a number of different departments, including the warehouse, shipping and receiving, customer service, internal sales, purchasing and dispatch, before advancing into a management role in sales and operations.
In May 2007, Petroleum Products merged into Maxum Petroleum, a nationwide firm backed by private equity investors. At this time, the Marcellus Shale was emerging in West Virginia, Pennsylvania and Ohio. Gov spearheaded Maxum’s entry into the Marcellus Shale by building a team, developing processes and building relationships with the customers. Maxum’s business in the Marcellus Shale grew organically over 30% a month, every month from 2008 to mid-2011. By 2012, Maxum had 400+ employees, 5 facilities and 250+ trucks for the Marcellus Shale, capturing a large percentage of the market. Maxum provided services to operators, drilling contractors, frac and mid-stream companies.
In 2012, Pilot Flying-J bought Maxum Petroleum and created Pilot Logistic Services. From 2012 to 2014, Gov served as Vice President of the Eastern Region, managing 600+ employees, 350+ trucks with 15 facilities. In 2014, Gov left Pilot Logistics Services to start Nacelle.
Gov is active in the Marcellus Shale Coalition, the West Virginia Independent Oil and Gas Association, the West Virginia Natural Gas Association and the West Virginia Coal Association. He is a past officer of West Virginia Oil Marketers and Grocers Association (OMEGA) and past member of the Board of Directors for the Kanawha Valley YMCA.
Patrick Graney is co-founder and managing member of Nacelle, leading the company’s administrative and operational activities.
Prior to Nacelle, Patrick spent seven years at MRC Global Inc (“MRC”), a NYSE Fortune 500 company, based in Houston, Texas and the largest global industrial distributor of pipe, valves and fittings (PVF) and related products and services to the energy industry. Patrick began his career at McJunkin as Director of Marketing in July 2007 where he managed and led the marketing and reporting teams through a transformative merger with Red Man Corporation, creating MRC. In June 2009, Patrick was promoted to Global Account Manager for ExxonMobil where he managed a “Top 5” global account spanning 16 countries around the globe. In April 2012, Patrick returned to Marketing as Vice President with responsibility for leading MRC’s marketing initiatives during a period of rapid growth and transition from a privately held company through an Initial Public Offering and several “roll up” acquisitions around the globe. In his final role at MRC, before leaving to start Nacelle, Patrick was Regional Operations Manager for the Texas Gulf Coast, MRC’s largest sub-region. There he held profit and loss responsibility and accountability for the sub-region consisting of eight branches, two regional distribution centers and 250+ employees.
Before joining MRC, Patrick spent five years at Trammell Crow Company, a commercial real estate firm based in Washington, DC and prior to that spent time working for Petroleum Products, Inc. and One Stop Inc., a fuel distribution company and c-store operation, respectively.
Patrick is a graduate of the University of Virginia where he earned a BA in History and an MBA from the Colgate Darden School of Business. He lives in Charleston, WV with his wife and four children.
Pete Morcheid is the Vice President of Engineering and Operations at Nacelle and currently leads the company’s engineering and operations efforts.
Pete holds over 10 years’ experience in pipeline and compressor station design, engineering, operations and management. Most recently, he served as the Manager of Compression and Corrosion Services at Pennsylvania’s largest natural gas distribution company, Peoples Gas. There, he successfully managed the integration of compressor operations for the three legacy companies that now make up Peoples Gas. In addition, Pete managed the routine operation, maintenance budget and capital expenditure programs for more than two dozen compressor stations, four dozen engine-compressor units, and 6 natural gas storage fields. Pete also effectively managed and maintained corrosion control programs for 400+ miles of jurisdictional transmission, storage and gathering pipelines and 12,000 miles of distribution pipelines for more than 700,000 customers.
A U.S. patent holder, he earned a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering from the Swanson School of Engineering within the University of Pittsburgh as well as a Masters in Management from the Sam & Irene Black School of Business from Penn State University.
Other certifications include Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Certified Project Management Professional (PMP), and NACE International & Appalachian Underground Corrosion Certification Holder.
Pete lives in the greater Pittsburgh area with his wife and four children.
Theresa Dudding is the Vice President of Accounting & Administration where she leads Nacelle’s accounting and administrative processes.
Theresa comes to Nacelle from MRC Global where she has held a variety of roles over her 32 year career, including Accountant, Cash Manager, Assistant Controller, Controller and Senior Vice President. Theresa holds experience in mergers and acquisitions, business processes and ERP systems’ development and integration.
She was active in MRC Global’s mergers and acquisitions efforts, participating in thirty acquisitions including systems and processes integration of acquired companies. She participated in preparation of the Initial Public Offering and transformation from private to public company. In 2014, she became Vice President – Business Process & Systems Integration where she managed the Transportation, Warehouse Services, Pricing Compliance, Customer Implementations, and Business Process departments.
Theresa graduated magna cum laude from the University of Charleston with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. She is a Certified Public Accountant and a Chartered Global Management Accountant. Theresa is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and a member of the West Virginia Society of CPAs.
Theresa lives in Scott Depot, WV with her family.
Greg is a founding member of Nacelle. He has spent his 30 year career assisting privately-held business owners and entrepreneurs and their advisors in creating, growing, and capitalizing their businesses and monetizing the value in the same through devising and executing strategies in the capital markets. Currently, Greg manages CleanSource Capital, which is the dedicated specialty finance affiliate of Abundant Power Group, based in Charlotte, NC.
Prior to joining Abundant Power as a Managing Partner, Greg was the Founder and Managing Director of MCF Advisors in Charlotte, NC, a boutique investment banking firm providing mergers and acquisitions advice and capital formation strategies to privately-held middle market businesses. Previously he was the Managing Director of the Royal Bank of Canada’s internal investment banking unit for its commercial banking operations based in Charlotte, and prior to that a co-founder and Managing Director of Capital Investment Partners, a private investment banking firm focused on small to middle market transactions in Raleigh, NC. Previously, Greg practiced corporate and securities law in Raleigh, NC and Baltimore, MD.
Greg is a member of the North Carolina and Maryland State Bars and a registered representative with FINRA holding multiple securities licenses. He is a past member of the Board of Directors and President for the Charlotte chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth. Greg received a JD/MBA from Tulane University, a BA in Environmental Sciences from the University of Virginia.
Joseph G. Bunn, Esq. is a board member of Nacelle and is of Counsel with the law firm Steptoe & Johnson PLLC. In his practice, Joe assists his clients in mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures of various business interests. He also counsels his clients on various business matters, including, corporate governance issues, credit facilities, and miscellaneous contracts. Over the course of Joe’s practice, he has negotiated and drafted numerous asset purchase and stock purchase agreements for buyers and sellers ranging in size from $10,000,000 to $265,000,000. Joe’s practice primarily pertains to the natural resources, rail transportation, banking, and private equity industries.
Prior to joining Steptoe & Johnson PLLC, Joe worked for the law firm of Jones & Associates where he also practiced corporate law. Before attending law school, Joe served in numerous roles at Central Coal Company, including Director of Finance and Manager of Strategic Planning.
Joe was recognized by The Best Lawyers in America® for his expertise in Mining Law during the years of 2014, 2015, and 2016. He serves as a Board Member for the WVU College of Law Center for Energy and Sustainable Development, a Board Member of the West Virginia Consolidated Public Retirement Board, and a Board Member for numerous private, for-profit business entities. He holds a Bachelor’s of Business Administration from the College of William & Mary and a Juris Doctorate from West Virginia University College of Law.
Joe, his wife, and their daughter, live in Charleston, WV.
Pat is a founding member of Nacelle and the Founder and President of PCG, Inc. a private investment company. He has had a long and accomplished business career starting and growing businesses. Pat was the owner of Petroleum Products, Inc, a fuel distributor, from December 1975 to December 2012 and One Stop Stores, a chain of convenience stores, from December 1981 to July 2015. He is active in community affairs, and currently serves as a director of the West Virginia Coal Association, and the West Virginia Chamber of Commerce. He also serves as Chairman of the Executive Board of the Buckskin Council of the Boy Scouts and Secretary of the Board of the University of Charleston. Pat is also currently a director on the Board of City National Bank and served as a Class B Director representing West Virginia on the Board of the Richmond Federal Reserve from December 2008 to December 2013.
Pat received a Bachelor of Arts degree from The University of Virginia, and a Masters of Business Administration from the Colgate Darden School at The University of Virginia. He resides in Charleston, WV with his wife and is the proud father of four sons and five grandchildren.
