Clover Hill Dairy Project
U.S. Gain, a leader in the development, procurement, and distribution of renewable and natural gas for the transportation and energy sectors, selected Nacelle as RNG upgrading provider for their Clover Hill RNG development project. Nacelle’s equipment integrated with an existing digester on-site to safely upgrade the biogas to pipeline-quality RNG and dispense the gas to U.S. Gain for transportation to its injection sites. Nacelle also worked with U.S. Gain to commission the project and, since commissioning, has provided ongoing operational oversight and maintenance for its equipment through an Own, Operate and Maintain (O, O & M) agreement. U.S. Gain is a division of US Venture, one of the largest private companies in Wisconsin.
The Clover Hill project improves access to RNG for the transportation and thermal energy sector but also benefits communities surrounding the farm. The digester captures 99% of the methane produced during the production, significantly improving localized air quality.
